2. What Data We Collect & How We Collect It

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us based on the type of purchase:

  • For Art Prints: We collect Identity Data (Full name) and Contact Data (E-mail address, shipping address, billing address, phone number) through the Squarespace checkout system to fulfill your delivery.

  • For Custom Commissions: In addition to Identity and Contact Data, we collect custom order details, reference photos uploaded by you, and pet/subject names. This information is collected through Jotform (our order form provider) and directly via email communication.

3. Payment Processing Data

Your financial transactions are handled entirely by secure, third-party payment processors (Stripe and PayPal). We do not store, view, or collect your credit card or payment credentials on our servers.

4. Analytics and Cookies

To improve your browsing experience, we use tracking tools that collect anonymous data regarding website traffic:

  • Google Analytics

  • Squarespace Analytics These tools collect data such as your IP address, browser type, location, and pages visited via cookies. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings.

5. How We Use Your Data

We use your data strictly to:

  • Process and fulfill your print orders and custom art commissions.

  • Ship physical items to your address.

  • Communicate with you regarding updates, previews, and invoices.

  • Analyze website traffic to improve our services.

6. Data Retention & Your Rights

  • Photos: Reference photos provided for custom commissions are stored securely during the creation process and are safely deleted or archived upon completion, unless otherwise agreed for future print reproductions.

  • Your Rights: Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, please contact us at bogigrell.art@gmail.com

7. Revisions & Sketch Approval:

  • Every commission includes 2 free revision rounds during the sketching phase.

  • The 3rd revision round and any subsequent changes cost €25 per round.

  • Once the sketch is approved and final coloring has started, no more modifications can be accepted. Any changes requested after this stage will be treated and billed as a completely new order.

8.Copyright & Social Media Rights:

  • The Artist (Bogi Grell) retains all copyrights to the commissioned artwork, including the right to use it for promotional purposes, social media content, and portfolio displays.

  • The Client receives the physical artwork for personal use only and may not resell or use the artwork for commercial profit.

  • If the commission is a time-sensitive gift or requires privacy, the Client must notify the Artist prior to production so that social media posts can be delayed or restricted.
